There is another diploma mill out there which offers you a 'life experience' degree (BA, Masters, Ph.D) from Pacific University. This one is very misleading because there is a Pacific University in Oregon which is a legitimate and accedited school. I almost bought one of these degree's however $200 and 48 hours later for a B.A. sounded too good, so I did some investigation. The Pacific school that you get your fake degree from has an address and name in California which not a recognized university by the US Department of Education, nor are the acceditation companies acceptable organizations.

QUOTE(mic00 @ Dec 2 2006, 07:30 PM) There is another diploma mill out there which offers you a 'life experience' degree (BA, Masters, Ph.D) from Pacific University. Brian Brian, Not going to stand up for Pacific as I have no idea who they are, but do you realize that most "regionally accredited" universities will NOT accept coursework from a "nationally accredited" university. For example Mountain State University in WV will not accept any coursework nor will they accept a degree from Florida Metropolitan University, although both are accredited by accreditation bodies approved by the US Dept of Education and both are approved under Title IV for financial aid as well!! FMU has a decent program, though I'm not a student I have been told this. However I have experienced this issue personally with other institutions... CTU would NOT take credits from Miami-Jacobs, both of which have the same accreditation standings respectively as the previous example. |

Does anyone know of a bona fide college out there that actually offers 'life experience degrees'?
