i just canceled my order and asked customessays.co.uk for refund and the woman who doesn't speak english well told me that it will take up to 7 days...

do you think i will really get a full refund? did anybody else faced with the same problem?
could you give me an advice what should i do now?
Should i wait those 7 days and if not go to the bank? Or should i go to the bank immediately and tell what's happened?

i'm really worrying that i won't get my GBP 300!!!

Do not take the chance. Contact your credit card company and file a chargeback immediately.

i had a nightmare with this company too. it was one thing after another and when they didnt have ANY of the long list of references that i gave them with the original order, they asked me to email them copies of the papers which i did.

what i got back was simply a cut and paste of pretty much the whole of two of the original papers id sent them stuck together!!

anyway, needless to say i asked for my money back and was told various rubbish such as it had already been paid, wait seven days, its been passed to the accounts dept - never heard from them again, i had to keep chasing them and was just fobbed off every time.

so i spoke to my credit card company and had to fill in a few forms and send lots of copies of my inbox at the customessays site, receipts and copies of the rubbish they sent me as well as copies of the paper they had plagiarised.

anyway, the credit card company refunded me the whole amount and all the interest charged to me.

talk about a lucky escape.

Can the moderator clarify what happens when the credit card company refunds the amount back to a cheated customer -- do they then claim it back from the fraudulent agency (in this case CustomEssay.co.uk)?

It would be horrific for the essay agency to not be held responsible in any way -- what authority can we report them to in the UK?
