I am not trying to flame anyone or anything but I received this e mail below as a forwarded mail. After reading it, I think that the original sender intended it to be addressed to a specific individual and he bcc to the rest because I could not see the rest of the recipients. Anyway there are some harsh language used in this mail (very sorry about this) but after reading through, I think it would be appropriate to inform to those who intend to seek partners for business to take the extra care to find out about their background, practices and also the person's character to ensure their thrustworthiness eventhough the person claims to be from a reputable instituition and for those who are seeking an education or higher learning, please find out more about the school's condition, how lecturers threat their students, beyond than what you see in the university's brochure. Having great qualifications from the reputble instituition does not mean much these days. I do not know if that is a generic case but anyway... If you read through, you will find some disturbing information on the experience of one or may be a few people's experience with these reputable instituitions. Just would like to share it here and STRICTLY FYI. I have removed the e mails of the original sender.

When a graduate from the UK comes to you in one of YOUR SUPPOSEDLY INTERVIEWS. I remember these are the questions you ask:

a) Did you do a DEGREE ?

HELLO ....... R U AND UR ADMIN STAFF BLIND OR YOU LOST THE APPLICANTS CERTIFICATES. R U BLIND. CHECK THE LIST OF CERTS BEFORE ASKING THIS STUPID QUESTION. YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL APPLY TO YOU WHEN THEY DO NOT HAVE A DEGREE.

Did you do project for your degree ?

And MARY LAU WAS ON LEAVE FOR THE WHOLE MONTH. DID U send to these BOGUS ###### OFFER LETTERS TO STUDENTS WHO ARE CONVICTED OF CRIME LIKE YOU HAVE SENT TO THOSE LEGITIMATE DECENT PEOPLE WHO WORKED HARD TO GET EVERYTHING IN THEIR LIFE. Or did u just let these CONVICTED CRIMINALS THROUGH YOUR SYSTEM N PUNISH THOSE decent, sincere, qualified but from poor family background with your SACARCISM ?

C) U CLAIM TO BE A WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITY AND YET YOU SEND APPLICANTS OFFER LETTERS WITH YOUR LETTER HEAD AND TELL THEM THAT NO SUCH LETTER WAS SENT ???? And inform to them that " U R NOR WORTH IT ". WHERE IS YOUR CREDIBILITY AND ETHICS AS A RESEARCHER. WHAT GUARANTEES OF WORD DO YOU INVESTORS TO SOME OF THE MAJOR RESEARCH PROJECTS IN NUS HAVE KNOWING THAT YOU HAVE A TENDENCY TO DO SOMETHING AND LATER DENY IT. DO U HAVE ALSO A HABIT TO ANNOUNCE A DRAMATIC RESEARCH FINDING AND later when people dispute YOU, U TELL ALL YOUR INVESTORS AND THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY THAT YOU DID NO SUCH FINDINGS AND THAT THIS WORK IS NOT EVEN YOURS TO START WITH.
