I have worked for Academia Research for more than 6 months and submitted more than 60 articles for them. Nicola was quite friendly to us and Victoria posed as the HR personnel. Sean is the stupid "go-between who switches from a non-sensical persona to an outright skunk! These people often do not know what they're talking about. Beats me why writers still work for them!

Anyhow, to make the story short, they have accused me of plagiarism! Their accusations were proven wrong when confronted to prove their allegations. There was never any plagiarized content in my submission, to begin with. This particular article was for a subject : Gender Sexuality in Horror Films. The client most likely a student even praised my work but these scumbags decided to accused me of "copy pasting" which never happened just to fleece me out of 160usd labeled as a "fine" for a plagiarized work. They did this just two days before payday in order to either renege the duties in paying their writers or to accomodate enough money to pay up after spending the income earned from write-ups on their useless vacation!

They also sent me an email asking me to remove all my posts on freelance writing sites before I will ever receive a cent from them. It's quite hard for them when they are loosing much of their staff and having a great difficulty trying to find good writers.

On the other hand, I would just like to know if customessay is theirs too? They seem quite identical to me.

Online operations similar to Acdemia-MasterPapers and many of their other names deserved to be banned forever in any site!

Yup! I got fired after earning over 300 dollars for those *****. And why? Because they stuffed my 'current orders' with three already late assignments, I was trying to convince them to take those orders from my panel but there was no reply. After one night during which they sent me over 35 reminders (!) I got an e-mail where they fired me!!!! Adding that this is because of plagiarism, impoliteness toward the customer and constant lateness of orders!!!!!! ######! none of my customers ever complined! I never had a single revision! I didn't get any money from them as a result. I guess it's what they always do. Hire a writer and then fire him/her under any pretext! I am so mad! I put so much effort into this work!

Still, the fact is that many people manage to work for them for several months with success and no problems at all. What is it about then?

Also, as for the language they use here's a copy of the 'fired' e-mail that I got:

We are regretfully notifying you that due to several impeachments of our agreement we have no choice but to terminate your account with our company. We try to be as fair as possible but there are certain things that we will simply not tolerate such as: plagiarism, lateness of orders, disrespect to our customers and bad quality of writing. You actions have caused enough damage to our company's reputation as it is we are not willing to risk and continue working with you.
We hope that this serves as a lesson to you.,

Pity it was the ex-writer's deadline which expired, I got the already late paper against my will. They didn't care about my messages, let alone e-mails.

Call me a maniac if you wish, but I intend to bring up the case of Academia Research on some blog maybe and I am currently researching the academia very thoroughly. (PUN!)

As a scammed writer, fired for no reason (officially, of course, for every reason), I've decided to test their recruitment procedure. The results are more than astonishing.

Many customers complain that scam companies hire 'semi-slave' ESL labor; well I am myself a member of this cheap and unqualified staff. I have to tell you, that none of my native customers or non-native clientele ever complained about my work. All was fine, no revisions, doubts, nothing. In fact, I happened to revise awful papers by both ESL writers and natives (Americans, British). So, in truth, I think ESL writers as such are not a problem. Those ESL writers who can barely construct sound sentences in English are no worse than native writers whose IQ doesn't go over 100. Basically the problem is in the way some companies admit writers.

I'm not sure about other firms, but I believe academia beats them all!

So here's what I did!
I applied on their website (again) with the same personal data, on the same day when I was fired. The only thing they didn't accpet was my previous e-mail address because it was 'in use'. So I gave them another address. Next I received an e-mail with test assignment, I answered back with the same paper I sent them for the first time and two days later I recieved the same "feedback" and congratulations. Exactly what happened the first time.

Apart from the fact that they, as I conclude, hire writers not bothering to read their resumes or tests, they also answer to applications by automatically generated e-mails. What firm would employ anyone "automatically"?!

The best part. For those who may doubt if it's possible, here's what you can do yourselves. (And I even think it's quite amusing)
Fill their application form with any data, from any computer and any place in the world. Give a real e-mail address to see how they respond. The most important thing: attach a blank word document as your resume (Or with just several letters), and do the same with test assignment. I can guarantee you that in just a couple of days you will get an e-mail with congratulations

Once you access writer's panel, have a look at some of the 'late' orders, there is, usually, some history of messages between clients, admins, and writers.

It's easy to see once you read them that writers complain because:
- the order was assigned to them against their will/competence (academia stresses on its homepage that absolutely no order will be assigned without the author's consent)
- admin doesn't respond to the writer, consequently, the writer will have a delayed payment, some fine, and is not allowed to request orders untill this late assignment is completed.
- writer refuses to proceed with an order because s/he hasn't been paid for several months already

And many other issues
